Financing solar storage in Nigeria: how credit terms actually work
The barrier to replacing diesel is rarely running cost — it is the upfront cheque. Our credit facility exists to spread that, with the quote showing both USD equipment pricing and a naira planning equivalent.
The structure
You pay between 50% and 70% of the delivered price before installation, and the balance is settled on credit over an agreed term. The split and the term depend on your segment: corporations and hospitals typically get the longest terms, small shops the shortest.
Plan the balance against savings
The useful test is whether your monthly fuel-and-tariff saving covers the credit instalment. For Nigeria, include diesel litres, servicing, Band A or other DisCo tariff units, and outage losses. In many commercial profiles we quote, the system pays for itself while you use it.
What we need from you
A load list, your Nigerian state, feeder band where known, monthly bill, fuel use and basic business documents. That is enough for a written quote showing the upfront amount, the balance and the instalment.
